The Viet Cong used antibiotics and other medications in the 1960s and 1970s that were "liberated" from the French in the 1940 and 1950s. While this could be leaning toward the extreme, it is a testament to what has worked in the past, for others in need.

Have you considered collodial silver as an antibiotic? I've used it for myself, my husband, and our four children, 5-17, with excellent results. It just keeps getting more expensive, but it really does work, at least for us. I'm also getting more into homeopathy and finding what works for us. Our "in-network" assigned doctor is impossible and in it for the money, apparently. He's certainly adept at churning it. I found a company which sold equipment to manufacture your own collodial silver, but haven't found it to be very satisfactory. Besides, the company still owes me one of the kits and it's been over a year. My doctor won't give out refills because he doesn't want to lose the $80.00 office call needed to refill meds. Jerk! He's about to get his, though, because our crappy insurance company wants to cut down on the frequent visits. They're not buying that it's because of "good medical care". (I assured them that the constant office calls weren't my idea!!!) They want me to buy through them and cut him out entirely. I really need the email address of a good on line pharmacy which is interested in selling blood pressure and thyroid meds, instead of Xanax, Vicodan, Cialis or Viagra, if there is such a thing. Be aware the Feds are wanting to shut them down as quickly as possible, for the sake of "safety", of course, like all freedom-grabbing ploys. We live in a rural area and this quack is all that's available. He wants to make enough money to get the hell out of here and is deaf to pleading. I have really high blood pressure and I sit there for thirty minutes waiting for his highness to see me. He takes my pulse, then my blood pressure again and says, "God, it's still way too high!" Gives me a ONE MONTH prescription for the same ineffective meds I was taking before, charges me $80.00 and I walk out the door, furious, then repeat it again the next month. (By the way, I'm 15 pounds UNDER-weight and don't smoke, so spare me the fitness lecture! If I could get out of this mess by running a mile a day, I'd be on my 4th lap already.) Any ideas???

Silver has anti-bacterial qualities, but I would not use it internally. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyria
My mother has had high blood pressure problems (normal weight, low sodium intake, low cholesterol), taking hawthorn berry helps her.
